About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will have responsibility for the development, orchestration and optimization of projects, processes and programs to support the organizational infrastructure and functional health and sustainability of the Urology Marketing team.  The Senior Project Manager manages a portfolio of complex initiatives while working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment - demonstrating partnership, innovation, and excellence to enable strategic decision-making, greater efficiencies, agility, stronger governance, and functional transformation. 

Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will exercise an enhanced performance and reporting skillset - by identifying, tracking and measuring both team and operational/functional/controllable efficiencies using a diverse, data-driven toolset – to deliver against success indicators and priorities that align with commercial objectives and expectations. This role will span across multiple disciplines while leading and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and departmental heads.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leverage project and program management principles, methods and techniques in order to initiate, plan, execute, and monitor activities associated with business-critical projects.
• Prioritize and drive bodies of work through well-defined and documented processes while holding self and others accountable to deliverables. 
• Delegate tasks among team members as appropriate with a focus on transparency and communication. 
• Independently run projects through entire life cycle
• Serve as trusted advisor to both leadership and teams across the organization.
• Orchestrate and exercise a consistent, relational approach to navigating and brokering partnerships, priorities and projects. 
• Initiate highest level of connectivity (including global, corporate & enterprise) to foster collaboration points, intersections and stretch opportunities.
• Recognize and embrace the importance of organizational transformation, continuous improvement and innovation. 
• Establish rapport with stakeholders to expand and mature capabilities and competencies for the organization.
• Implement both functional and divisional accountability and ownership via health checks, trend reports, roadmaps, executive summaries, budget trackers, requirements, annual operating plans and year-in-reviews, dashboards as well as role and responsibility governance using methodical, accessible documentation combined with a reliance on stakeholders who may gather, possess or augment the data. 
• Establish predictable norms for sharing/presenting and exchanging this type of information combined with showcasing progress against benchmark indicators.
• Prioritize work based on research and evidence
• Make resource adjustment & capacity recommendations based on workload and barriers
• Identify gaps, assess project risks and implement risk response activities to effectively manage uncertainties and resource constraints.

 

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and project management experience managing the full project lifecycle
• Experience using project management platforms and tools 
• Ability to travel up to 15%, as needed

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with commercial marketing teams in med tech, pharma or healthcare industry
• PMI or PMP certification
• Deep analytical skills, with the ability to decipher and aggregate disparate data sources
• Ability to work cross-functionally and at all organizational levels in a professional, solution-oriented manner
• Knowledge of different project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
• Organization and execution skills including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project progress, completion & evaluation
