Apprentice Geolocation Operator - Passive

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking qualified Apprentice Geolocation Operators - Passive candidates who are looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta, GA area.

Primary Responsibilities

The Apprentice Operator – Passive (AO-P) shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and passive geolocation technique available.

Basic Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.

• Two years of operational experience, within the last five years conducting RF collection or Direction-Finding operations.

• Successful completion of the initial Passive Geolocation certification program is required upon assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or Masters degree.

• Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in a foreign language.

• Graduate of 451 or 452 Signal Analysis School.

• Experience with manual or automatic Time/Frequency Difference of Arrival (T/FDOA) geolocation operations.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
