The Health and Bioscience (H&B) business is one of four divisions within IFF and is seeking to fill an open position for a Regional Sales Assistant/Analyst and Demand Planner in North America. The Demand Planner ensures product demand forecasts are created, reviewed, published, and refined when appropriate. Interacts and communicates with sales, marketing, finance, supply planning, and other departments as appropriate to obtain current, accurate, and relevant information.
The Regional Sales Assistant/Analyst and Demand Planner supports the sales and commercial excellence teams, delivers information, drives commercial excellence processes and projects, and supports processes and systems in the H&B Business. With a customer-centric mindset, the Regional Sales Assistant/Analyst will serve internal customers with guidance and support to drive high quality and business impact.
The successful candidate should have experience with Sales Force.com, and as a plus SAP or other enterprise management systems, and a robust track record of problem-solving. The candidate will report to the H&B Commercial Excellence Leader.
Job Requirements
Demand Planning
- Support the consensus demand plan each month and pulling together necessary content to run the SIOP monthly demand reviews.
- Analyze sales history, business intelligence, and statistical data to drive accuracy for short-term (0-12 months) and long-term (12-24 months) forecast horizons, including support of budget process
- Become subject matter expert in demand planning tools (APO; MyBIS; MIP), including implementation of training schedule (Sales Input Tool) with Commercial Team, applying differentiated forecast strategy principles and partnering directly with IT to resolve technical system issues
- Accountable for the Demand process and continually improving output, accuracy and bias using BI reporting. Be able to generate value adding reports for commercial teams
Sales Force.Com (SFDC) Super User/SFDC and Price Force.Com (PFDC) Support
- Work with customer leads and prospects to advance through sales cycle
- Assist new Sales Force.com users with access and modify access for current users
- Provide training / advice as needed.
- Enter issues as needed for problems
- New Sales Force.com Platforms (Customer Hub, Service Cloud, Showpad etc)
- Learn new platforms as adopted by H&B Business
- Provide training and guidance on platforms during roll out to the organization
- Become a Superuser for each new platform and support the organization in the ongoing use of platforms
- Complete projects as assigned by the Business Process Owner
Sales administration
- Work with sales teams to improve Opportunities data in SFDC
- Align CRM account information
- Gather data and verify customers’ quarterly rebates
- Maintain Animal Nutrition “Blender file” and host meetings bi-monthly to verify data
- Work with regulatory on tonnage for state tax purposes quarterly
- Run sales reports as requested by Key Account Managers
- Analyze sales to calculate yearend bonus payments
- Receive and process invoices as needed
