Compensation range starts at $17 per hour
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Intake Registration Representative will efficiently manage the process of patient intake and registration, including the update and verification of demographic details, scanning ID and insurance cards, and notifying relevant departments of the new admission.
- Explain all necessary consents to patients or guarantors and obtain signatures, ensuring an informed process.
- Patient Registration Representative will enter patient information into our EMR system with a high level of accuracy.
- Responsible for collection of patient payments and issuing of appropriate receipts.
- Greet all visitors in the main lobby and notify appropriate staff when patients or guests have arrived; guests will sign in, complete COVID screening questionnaire with temperature check, and receive badges as necessary.
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls and voicemails appropriately; take and retrieve messages on behalf of corporate personnel.
- Provide callers and visitors with company information (i.e., company address, directions, location, fax numbers, website address, program information, etc.).
- Perform Point of Care Testing and Vital Collection. Ensure timely documentation of results in patient record.
- Sign for deliveries and prepare packaging and shipping labels to send shipments via USPS and FedEx upon request.
- Retrieve, sort, and distribute all facility mail/email to the appropriate department or employee on a daily and timely basis.
- Support various operational tasks, including participating in audits, searches, and other administrative duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of the facility.
- Securely collect and log items dropped off for current patients, ensuring their belongings are safely managed and delivered.
- Oversee the inventory of office supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure the intake department is well-stocked.
- Assist intake department with any other work-related functions.
- The ideal candidate will also possess advanced computer skills.
This is a full-time position. Available shifts:
- Friday - Tuesday
- Friday, Monday, Tuesday: 2:30 - 11:00 PM
- Saturday, Sunday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of experience in patient registration, behavioral health facility, or office reception work is preferred.
- Maintains open communication lines with clinical director, clients and families.
- Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
