Your Role:

A. Part measurement & PEDA document preparation -  60 % of time

1. Measurement report

2. Master sample product data sheet

3. Supplier product data sheet

4. Appearance deviation report

5. Liaise with test engineer to perform validation & benchmark test

 

B. Discussion with supplier – 20% of time

1. Technical review with supplier pertaining rejection (drawing & sample)

2. Follow up with supplier pertaining supplier sample submission

3. Discussion with supplier for quality part improvement.

 

C. PEDA upload - 15 % of time

1. Upload and approve technical documentation in PIMS

 

D. Others - 5% of time =

1. Design validation activity & engineering change request

2. Sample arrangement & update sample tracking sheet

3. Involve in yearly sample dispose activity for department storage housekeeping.

 

Your Profile:

• Best knowledge on technical drawings & measuring instruments (CMM & Go-No Go gauge)
• Good knowledge on validation test equipment (Fatigue test machine, wear off test machine, tensile & compression test machine as well as environmental test machine.
• Best knowledge on GD&T & know how to interpret result during inspection & approval activity
• Good knowledge in suspension & shock absorber part is preferable. 
• Best knowledge on tolerance stacks up
• Good communication skills
