What You’ll Do

The Senior Engineer Manager, Platform will be responsible for, minor bug fixes, monitoring technical performance of our platform, conducting development tests, attending, and contributing to team and company level meetings and mentorship of junior personnel. The candidate being sought should be a creative, self-motivated, highly energetic, results and detail-oriented individual passionate about offensive cyber security, software development, product development and architectural design.

• Manage and continue to build a team of highly trained Sr. & Principal level Platform Engineers.

• Maintain and improve the systems/services that support the ephemeral architecture of NodeZero.

• Discover/Create/Deploy new technologies/services to further support and enable Horizon3 engineers.

• Monitor the ephemeral architecture life cycle and respond appropriately to any related incidents/bugs.

• Help create good documentation for all the SRE things (Confluence, Gitlab pages).

• Accurate work tracking (Jira).

• Enjoy the work (seriously, we all love what we do and want to work with others who do too).

• Gitlab CI/CD 

• AWS services (API Gatewayy, Lambda, S3, IAM, SQS, KMS etc.)

• Other Cloud providers a plus (Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.)

• Web authentication standards (OIDC, SAML)

• Messaging queueing services (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.)

• Ansible

• Hashicorp services (Terraform, Packer, Vault)

• Terragrunt

• Programming/Scripting languages (Python, BASH, PowerShell)

• Docker

• Kubernetes (RKE2 experience a plus)

• Monitoring services a plus (Datadog, Splunk, Kibana)

Travel Required 

We are a fully remote company, and this job may require up to 5% of travel to be successful. Job-related travel expenses are reviewed and must be approved by your manager.
