The Boeing Enterprise Finance team is seeking an Senior Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Finance Integration team in Seattle, Washington. This is a unique opportunity to gain an insightful lens into the technology operations that make our aerospace missions possible.  This position offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

The person selected for this position will be responsible for supporting IDT&S Executive Leadership and Product Divisions with data analysis, actionable insight for strategic planning and business decisions, performance reporting, cross functional collaboration, and presentations to Senior Executives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to lead complex integration and analysis, of year-to-date performance, opportunity and risk and year end performance to target

  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to develop strategic insights supporting company business objectives

  • Support the development of independent analysis and business cases using historical actuals, Centers of Expertise (CoE) input and business insights

  • Build strong relationships with IDT&S Leadership, Finance CoE and Finance Integration peers

  • Identify performance reporting needs, initiate and prepare complete recommendations, effectively conveying key messages to IDT&S senior leadership

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Boeing and Governmental regulations concerning financial policies, procedures, processes, systems and tools

  • Identify and Execute o appropriate Cost Policy determinations and Boeing Accounting Principles

  • Provide oversite, and seek opportunities to optimize IDT&S Long Range Business Plan Process

  • Initiate efficiencies in Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA) and financial intelligence, and perform as a mentor to other team members

  • Seek opportunities to build on training, tools and more consistent messaging within IDT&S

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related role

  • Experience analyzing and integrating financial data, as well as financial analysis/cost and risk management

  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly

  • Experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and PowerPoint

  • Experience as a team-lead, collaborating with team members to find effective solutions for the benefit of the organization

  • Experience in financial cost management, identification of cost policy discrepancies, and aiding in recommendations

  • Knowledge or experience in application of standard or Boeing accounting practices

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and ability to meet deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field

  • Experience as a change agent; ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience in a role that requires building cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
