MDM & Data Governance Lead – Remote ( EU-based)

About the Role: 

Remote (Poland based)

We're looking for an experienced MDM & Data Governance Lead to take ownership of enterprise data initiatives across global client portfolios. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid leadership and delivery role—combining strategic advisory, client engagement, and hands-on implementation. You’ll be responsible for defining and executing data governance and MDM strategies, leading project teams, and ensuring that our clients achieve trusted, scalable data ecosystems.

This role also requires a solid understanding of Master Data Management, including the ability to define strategy, approach, and lead/support the build and integration of MDM solutions using supporting technologies. 

What you'll do:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end MDM and Data Governance initiatives across multiple industries, ensuring alignment with client business goals.
• Define governance frameworks, data ownership models, and data quality standards for enterprise environments.
• Architect and implement MDM solutions (Informatica, Semarchy, Ataccama, Collibra, etc.) tailored to client needs.
• Engage C-level and senior stakeholders to build buy-in, drive cultural change, and promote data literacy.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and offshore delivery centres to ensure high-quality, scalable implementations.
• Contribute to business development activities—solution shaping, RFPs, pre-sales, and client workshops.

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience leading MDM and data governance programmes in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
• Deep understanding of data management principles, including metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with one or more MDM/governance platforms (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Semarchy, Ataccama, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term delivery.
• Exposure to regulated industries (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail) is a plus.
