General Purpose of Job

This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. They will act as the point of contact for data governance activities including the management of data definitions and data elements while achieving favorable data governance metrics. This position is also responsible for facilitating Data Governance Council meetings.

What you'll be doing

Demonstrated strong data analysis skills including independent ability to research data requirements for data warehouse in cloud environment and research source-to-target mapping from legacy data environment to new cloud environment. 
Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with business partners to facilitate data governance meetings, communicate data rules, and navigate discussions around data governance issues. 
Uses best practice standards and technical acumen to data mine for research purposes any data items as needed for role.
Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects.
Supports strategic program objectives by analyzing and provide requirements for future data warehouse environment.
Provides source-to-target mapping from legacy data environment to new cloud data environment. Ability to document and provide analysis of current state data workflows.
Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
