(Senior) Product Developer - Sports Supplement Nutrition

Your role

As a (Senior) Product Developer - Sports Supplement Nutrition, you will be a driving force in shaping the entire product category for sports supplement products. In close collaboration with our founder and CPO, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the vision for our sports supplement products. Embrace the role of a mini-entrepreneur within our organization and take full ownership of your product category Sports, overseeing the end-to-end product development.

• End-to-end supplement development: Lead the process from recipe development and conceptualization to final execution for the sports supplement nutrition product category
• Conduct capsule calculations and analyses, and develop sports supplement recipes with a keen eye on cost efficiency, ensuring optimal use of resources
• Perform competition and price analyses, while keeping a close eye on the latest market trends to understand consumer needs and preferences
• Gather customer feedback for continuous improvement, review products post-launch, and work closely with Regulatory Affairs for label updates and compliance
• Collaborate with our sourcing team for raw material selection and engage with manufacturers to ensure the highest and purest quality for every single ingredient
• Liaise with the editorial department to showcase our product differentiators on our website

Your profile

• You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience in project management for product development within the domain of sports supplement products – from capsule concept and formulation to sales
• You have experience seeing projects through the full product life cycle and you have already managed cross-functional projects within a fast-moving d2c start-up or company  
• Ideally you have a Bachelor / Master degree in food / nutritional sciences, food technology, sport & nutrition, sport management, biotechnology or a similar field
• Advanced familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices 
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline as well as very good analytical skills
• You are ready to come to the office regularly, fluency in English, German skills are a bonus!
