Shipping Clerk | $20 HR

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are currently seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our location in Franklin Park, IL to handle incoming and outgoing shipments in our warehouse. The role involves verifying deliveries, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Unload deliveries and place products in designated storage areas.
• Accurately prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders.
• Maintain shipping documents such as bills of lading, labels, inventory records, and receiving reports.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Keep shipping/receiving areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and purchasing teams to resolve issues.
• Document and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
From 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
(Must have flexibility to stay after regular hours and occasionally work Saturdays).

Pay rate: Regular Pay: $20.00 HR
Overtime: $30.00 HR

Qualifications:

• Own transportation to ensure punctuality.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer and inventory software skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Must have experience operating forklift.
• A background check and drug screening will be conducted.
• Two valid forms of ID.
• Steel toe boots.
