Summary:
As a YA Senior Regional Building Consultant (SRBC), you will provide high quality consulting services relating to property restoration, property defects, casualty, and losses of significance for YA’s customers, which include insurance companies, third-party adjusters and independent businesses and insureds. SRBCs are responsible for the management of each of our clients’ business and operations in defining and controlling costs associated with damaged structures. SRBC’s are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering, and weighing alternatives when appropriate, taking in to account the financial and operational significance of the services you are performing. SRBC’s are also responsible for execution and management of growth, operational and people initiatives within the region.Role & Responsibilities:
- Provides full-service building consulting on YA projects.
- Provides oversight of YA projects including engagement of the clients, service budget and timeline oversight, and assignment and management of YA consultants in the field.
- Supports Managing Partner in the day-to-day management of the region including budgeting, planning and labor management.
- Approves time and expenses for junior consultants.
- Supports in regional growth by recruiting consultants and assisting in business development strategies and planning.
- Provides development, training and mentoring to junior consultants.
- Works with the admin and business development teams to resolve collection and other customer related issues.
- Provides quality control reviews of junior consultant work product prior to submission to the client.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant construction, restoration, project management or insurance experience
- Advanced Xactimate experience required
- WRT, FSRT, HAAG or other appropriate industry certificates or certifications
- Ability to travel required
