Accountant,Treasury

The Accountant, Treasury Operations, is primarily responsible for day-to-day activity relating to cash management employing bank and non-bank products and systems, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations. The candidate will also be tasked with partnering with the Treasury Manager to lead business transformation and change management initiatives within Treasury.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Daily forecasting of cash position and recommendation of cash transfers to ensure appropriate allocation of funds
  • Wire transfers initiation and administration; tracking and initiation of various intercompany related transfers (management fees, dividends, etc)
  • Cash accounting, recordkeeping and month end reporting
  • Participate in ensuring optimization and ongoing development of treasury management system.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations to ensure all cash activity is balanced to bank activity. Assist in improving processes to prevent re-occurrence of discrepancies
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
  • 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
  •  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, etc.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $56,000 to $76,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
