The Senior Marketing Associate will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering business line investment banking marketing and communication content and campaigns to increase client engagement, advance the business’ brand and drive business results. The qualified individual will work with the Head of Investment Banking Marketing and the Investment Banking Marketing Lead to implement integrated marketing solutions, coordinate and execute marketing projects and activities using best-practice marketing and project management techniques, and analyze performance metrics to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns. 

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with business line teams to develop a detailed understanding of their business strategies, clients, products, and services. Identify marketing approaches and campaign recommendations that increase client engagement and drive business results.

  • Ensure that proposed solutions are consistent with firm and brand standards.

  • Partner with BMC content, visual design, communications, digital, event, and philanthropy teams to deliver exceptional results.

  • Execute more complex business line marketing campaigns.

  • Define tasks, identify project resources, and assign individual responsibilities using WRIKE project management tool.

  • Obtain stakeholder approval of scope, timeline, and budget as needed.

  • Drive completion of business line marketing projects.

  • Coordinate project resources and vendors.

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of marketing projects. Ensure projects meet timing, budget. and quality objectives.

  • Update plans as appropriate to meet changing objectives.

  • Track and report project status and drive closeout of project issues.

  • Review marketing and communication deliverables for quality and compliance with applicable standards.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns against pre-defined performance measures.

  • Maintain current knowledge of marketing trends within the financial services industry as they relate to the business line.

  • Recommend new marketing strategies or processes to enhance campaign and event execution.

  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, collaborating closely with Compliance and Business Information Center teams.

  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in marketing and communications required; financial services industry experience also required, investment banking or private equity experience a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative marketing solutions to drive business results and client engagement.

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, including project management tools and techniques.
