The Sr. Category Manager will develop, implement and realize the strategy for the assigned category while aligning within corporate requirements and guidelines to ensure results on all KPI’s as defined with BU/Business area and to contribute to the overall result of dsm-firmenich.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and deploys vision and approved plan for the assigned category of Direct Materials and Tolling Services.
• Provides input to Procurement Management in ANH and connected Business Units when implementing Regional/Global plan.
• Responsible for category strategy development as to deliver maximum value.
• Defines and leads (regional/global) cross-functional procurement teams.
• Develops and manages relationship with key suppliers and track their performance (Supplier Relationship Management).
• Manages relationship with internal stakeholder during projects.

You Bring:

• >5 yrs.in Procurement, marketing & sales or product management.
• Very good knowledge of negotiation skills and contracting tools.
• Experience in international matrix organizations.
• Extensive external contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and participate with cross functional teams.
• Change management capabilities.
