Job Description
AECOM is currently pursuing an experienced Construction Project Manager to support various projects located within the New York, NY area. The Construction Project Manager will support its Construction Management Teams working in the NYC Metropolitan area.
- Directs and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface
- Manages project staff & coordinates with Project Manager
- Manages project financials including staffing & coordinates with Project Manager
- Manages Budgets & coordinates with Project Accountant
- Attends & hosts project meetings
- Schedules and coordinates between AECOM; client; subconsultant and subcontractor teams
- Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
- Develop Bid Packages including contracts to procure subconsultants & subcontractors
- Reviews subcontracts
- Tracks project permitting requirements
- Manages overall project scheduling
- Develops and negotiates Change Orders
- Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout
- Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required
- Transit and Transportation Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with, the senior management team, external project stakeholders including senior client management leadership
- Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS Project
- Certifications: PE,CCM, NICET, PMP, DBIA
