About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with expertise to work on Enterprise data lake and Business intelligence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise data lake technologies (Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift etc.) and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.). This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with business stakeholders and proven experience in managing onsite-offshore delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Architecture
   • Design and implement scalable and efficient BI solutions using Reporting and analytical tool sets.
   • Define data architecture and BI strategy to meet business objectives.
   • Integrate advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities into BI solutions.
2. Technical Expertise
   • Develop and optimize complex dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
   • Use the platform for data engineering, advanced analytics, and ML model deployment.
3. Data Science & AI/ML
   • Collaborate with Data Science teams to build predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
   • Incorporate AI/ML algorithms into business intelligence workflows.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
   • Present solutions, prototypes, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Onsite-Offshore Coordination
   • Coordinate delivery working with onsite-offshore vendor partner teams to ensure project and support success.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the offshore team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Business intelligence tools like Power BI/Tableau and others, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise data lake systems
  • Working knowledge of Data Science tools and frameworks.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and architecture roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering end-to-end BI and data analytics solutions.
• Soft Skills:
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and engage with diverse stakeholders, including business and technical teams.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data and business intelligence certifications.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Working with retail business models.
