About the role

Position Summary: 

The Social Media Coordinator will support the Conair Brand Team across social media, community management, and copywriting. This role is responsible for helping maintain the brand’s voice across channels by engaging with consumers, drafting platformappropriate copy, and supporting daytoday content execution.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Community management - Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, tags, and mentions; maintain an on‑brand presence across owned channels; proactively engage with relevant content and conversations in the brand voice 
  • Escalation management - Identify and route customer concerns, product questions, and brand‑sensitive issues to appropriate internal teams 
  • Influencer interaction - Support creator reposting, comment interactions, and community amplification efforts 
  • Copywriting - Draft platform‑native social copy, canned responses, and supporting messaging for content and campaigns 
  • Content support - Assist with content ideation, trend identification, agile content creation, and maintaining consistency of brand voice 
  • Reporting - Track performance metrics, social impact, and compile data‑driven insights to support team reporting and SLAs 
  • Sampling – Assist with influencer and organic seeding and sample shipping, including coordinating requests, managing logistics and ensuring timely deliveries to support campaigns and initiatives 

Qualifications/skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, community management, or brand marketing (internships included) 
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to platform needs 
  • Culturally aware and knowledgeable about Gen Z trends, creators, and the beauty/lifestyle space 
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment 
  • Familiarity with major social platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software 
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred 

Environmental Factors:  

 

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. 
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time. 
  • This role requires Stamford, CT office on-site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
