POSITION TYPE: 12-month
START DATE: Immediate
COMPENSATION: $54,911 - $65,895, Home Office grade 4

THE OPPORTUNITY
YES Prep needs a dynamic Coordinator - Secondary Multilingual Program

To put it simply, you will advance the work of the secondary multilingual program by ensuring campuses have the training and resources needed, monitor program implementation and student achievement metrics, and serve as a liaison between various teams that have intersecting workstreams.
THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and distributing communication to teachers, literacy specialists, and other stakeholders about key actions required and secondary multilingual initiatives;
- Creating and monitoring systems to capture state of implementation of the secondary multilingual program including but not limited to small group EB instruction, EB strategies in Tier 1 instruction, and EB progress monitoring;
- Compiling and synthesizing relevant external and internal research and data related to language acquisition;
- Serving as a liaison within the district between the assessment, compliance, and secondary multilingual teams related to key tasks such as assessment administration (such as common assessments, TELPAS, IOWA Testing, benchmarking, etc.);
- Serving as a liaison within the district between the English, Multilingual Program Secondary, and compliance teams to finalize logistics and communicate plans for effective professional development and assessment norming and scoring days;
- Assisting in creating training sessions and maintaining resource materials;
- Ordering, submitting, receiving, inspecting counts, distributing, and communicating with campuses related to required material
