About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, and dynamic Chief of staff to support our CEO in matters of strategy and operations. You will have a unique opportunity to understand and influence the day-to-day priorities from the vantage point of a CEO and drive organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
This position has a 4-day in-office requirement in our Hayward, CA, office. Local candidates preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy, product, operations, business development, finance, or similar role with a knack for data analysis, strategic thinking, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Support the CEO in driving the execution of strategic goals across the organization
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and tracking of annual strategic planning and monitoring process
- Assisting the preparation, management, and implementation of board meetings, including information management
Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up:
- Prepare the CEO for meetings and follow up on action points that arise
- Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate executive meetings, including agenda preparations, meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
Project Management:
- Manage critical projects and initiatives, ensuring that they are executed on time and within budget.
- Document and track outcomes and materials, ensuring that action items are followed through to completion.
- Support the planning and execution of strategic projects and collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
Data Analysis:
- Provide analysis, insights for decision-making purposes
- Analyze internal operational and external market data
Communication and Team Building:
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other executive team members and departments ensuring transparency, open lines of communication and alignment.
- Develop relationships with staff at all levels, fostering a positive culture and promoting professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment that encourages cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a strategy, product, operations, business development, finance, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus
- Experience in the Tech/product and healthcare and PBM world highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, always maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of business operations, financial acumen, and project management principles.
- Fluency in English is required
