Position Summary
This position will be part of the Corporate Talent Acquisition team and responsible for all aspects of high-volume full life cycle recruiting and talent attraction, focusing on hourly positions at our US-based manufacturing facilities. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, onboarding, and positive candidate experience. The role will also support a variety of recruiting methods, including advertising, community networking, and creative development of recruiting sources while prioritizing and leveraging relationships with organizational management to ensure adequate staffing plans and standards are implemented.
Please note the preferred location for this position is Morrisville, NC, and would be a hybrid work arrangement. We would also be open to someone working remotely from anywhere in the US, preferably close to one of our manufacturing locations.
Principal Responsibilities
• Independently manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, engagement, screening, and presenting high-quality talent to hiring managers for selection.
• Identify and utilize sourcing tools to proactively connect with candidates and build relationships that convert passive candidates to hires.
• Facilitate high-quality recruiting strategy meetings by identifying and implementing sourcing and recruiting plans to meet short-and long-term business objectives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to demonstrate the value of having a talent acquisition advisor and better align talent with business needs.
• Coach hiring managers during the interview and selection process to ensure optimal selection of top talent.
• Coordinate, manage, and oversee the background verification, drug screening, and reference check processes to ensure full compliance with company policies as needed.
• Advocate for and contribute to Teleflex's employer value proposition and core values.
• Ability to source talent through social media channels and continually network with internal and external talent to build a proactive pipeline.
• Provide excellent candidate care throughout the Recruiting process.
• Participate in special projects to improve applicant processing, resourcing, and reporting systems.
• Partner with local employment entities to facilitate large-scale recruitment events.
• Be familiar with and adhere to current regulatory compliance and laws regarding employment practices.
• Host on-site interviews, if applicable, job fairs and informational sessions.
• Assist with the management of recruitment vendor contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in place of degree
• 2+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience in high-volume recruiting, focused on distribution centers and/or manufacturing facilities, preferably in a regulated environment
• Experience with managing requisitions within an applicant tracking system
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Experience in Boolean and deep web search techniques for sourcing.
