Senior Web Developer (Frontend Focus), VP

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a skilled Senior Web Developer (Frontend Focus) to join our strategic initiative. This role will focus on designing and developing modern, highly interactive web applications that support this new initiative. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned web developer with strong problem-solving skills and technical leadership, a deep understanding of web technologies & standards, and be passionate about building elegant, high-performance, and scalable web applications.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Web Developer, you will have the following key responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain modern web applications, primarily using Angular.

• Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with best practices in architecture, design, and development.

• Testing & Automation: Implement and maintain frontend unit tests and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure application reliability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into fully functional features.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Technology Exploration: Stay up to date with emerging web technologies (frameworks/libraries) and contribute to new project decisions.

• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and help maintain a high-performance engineering culture.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

• Proficiency in Angular (experience with React or Vue.js is a plus).

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of modern web standards and techniques.

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks, including Jest, Playwright and Cypress.

• Proficient in version control using Git.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with different stakeholders.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of full-time experience in web development, with a primary focus on frontend.

• Successful stories in frontend architecture and design from the ground up.

• Experience in responsive design and web performance optimization.

• Contribution to open-source projects is a plus.
