P&G has declared an Advance Analytics & Big Data as key strategy and is being designing and managing truly modern, scalable Big Data applications. At the same time P&G is broadly leveraging Cloud platform to host scalable and fully automated solutions based on clusters and serverless cloud services powered by P&G Big Data and Analytics.

Artificial Intelligence Engineering team (AIE) provides technical assistance to internal clients on architecture, design, implementation, operationalization, and scale up of advanced analytic solutions including Artificial Intelligence modules.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for technical aspects of running day to day AIE production applications and representing Team in projects in design for supportability aspects.

Responsibilities

• Engineering tasks realization including automations and toil eliminations

• End to End technical support of AIE solutions

• Running processing optimization initiatives (including cloud cost saving projects)

• Providing input into design of newly built AIE solutions in terms of supportability

• Development and implementation of changes/extensions of the solutions

• Gathering of logs and metrics and monitoring dashboards creation

• Partnership with Product Teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures

Job Qualifications

• Understanding of Cloud infrastructure and experience in managing solutions in Cloud Environment

• At least few years of hands-on experience in Python programming including PySpark and PyTest

• CI/CD tools knowledge  

• Ability to debug, optimize the code and automate routine tasks

• Experience in Data Transformation

• Experience in Monitoring and Observability dashboards creation (knowledge of Grafana/Prometheus will be an advantage)

• Ability to quickly penetrate technology areas and ask appropriate and meaningful technical questions

• Good problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Critical thinking

• Patience

• Ability to learn

• Good interpersonal skills
