The Role:As a Mobile Software Engineer at Lumin, you will be at the forefront of building our robust, performant and intuitive mobile-first applications. Your primary responsibilities include architecting, coding, testing and optimizing Lumin apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across Android, iOS and web platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate designs and technical requirements into efficient and elegant user-facing solutions.

You'll be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain robust and performant Android, iOS and web applications
• Partner with the design team to build compelling and intuitive user experiences
• Work directly with backend engineering to grow the capabilities of our APIs
• Actively contribute to the evolution of the Lumin app and backend architecture
• Help evolve our development infrastructure for rapid and high-quality delivery

What you bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a mobile app developer, with a strong background in native Android and/or iOS development
• Solid understanding and practical experience with at least one frontend JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)
• Ability to seamlessly transition between mobile and web development, bringing a holistic perspective to application design
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
• Real-world experience in testing, deployment and support of user-facing applications
• IoT experience is strongly preferred
• Bonus points for electrical/energy domain experience
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$135,000 + equity + benefits. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands, and years of experience. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
