Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting functions as well as support other corporate accounting operations.
The candidate should have demonstrated general accounting experience, strong communication skills, both oral and written, solid analytical abilities, and excellent organization skills. Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and analyses for areas assigned.
- Prepare monthly accruals and ensures expenditure are booked in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Assists in the analytical reviews of operating expense data by comparing actuals to forecast or trends to ensure that expenses are accurately recorded monthly.
- Prepare audit schedules or management reports as needed.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for Finance and Tax, and other inter-departmental teams as needed.
- Participate in special projects such as testing prior to implementation of accounting system changes/upgrades and process improvements.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- Experience: minimum 1-3 years of general accounting experience
- Active CPA required.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel) required.
- Experience in multinational company preferred.
- Knowledge of large general ledger software applications and online procurement and expense reporting systems a plus
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$61,068.49-93,600.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
