About the Role:We are looking for a Network Engineer/Architect to work on our client’s broadcasting team. Our client is looking to improve their Satellite TV from analog to an IP Cloud Based Project/Product. You would be an architect helping drive this transition for the client’s Broadcasting team. This position will include the following:
Day to Day Responsibilities:Modernize the existing legacy network to modern Software Defined NetworkingArchitect, design implements and support SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, NextGen Firewalls, Internet, LAN and cloud network operationsManage day-to-day operations tasks, troubleshooting, and hardware and software deploymentsWork with security teams and implement firewall policiesNetwork performance testing and monitoringResponsible for keeping network systems up to date and complaint with company standardsReport network status to the key stakeholdersPartner with other IT teams to achieve business excellenceDocument network designs, configurations and keep them up to date
Must Have:Here are some of the key technologies that make up our environment. While we do not expect you to have a detailed understanding of each, the more of these you are familiar with, the better.Overall 15+ years of experience with minimum 10+years of relevant experience in networking in traditional, cloud and hybrid environments.Very strong knowledge with Software Defined Networking (SDN)Solid knowledge of network including TCP/IP, IPSec and routing protocolsHands on experience of configuring and supporting routers, switches, and firewallsManaging Next Gen security appliances and deploying security policiesExperience of managing software defined network and SASE solutionsExperience in AWS cloud computing and deploying network appliancesExperience in operations of medium to large network, knowledge of current hardware, protocols, and internet standards, including routers, switches (Layer2/3), IPsec, remote access VPNs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and QoSExperience in industry leading WIFI solutions preferably Aruba5 to 8 years of network experience including configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting network issuesExperience with network design and test plan documentationsExperience in scripting and Linux operating systemsPrevious experience of Palo Alto / Cisco Networks firewallsPrevious experience of cloud-based Palo Alto / Cisco Networks SDWAN solutionExperience of Palo Alto Networks Primsa Access SASE solutionsCCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience and knowledgeKnowledge of automation of network tasks using ansible and other modern methodsVerbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work with cross functional project teamExperience with delivering projects in an agile environment using SCRUM methodologies.Candidate should have good communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Great teams do amazing things, but truly diverse teams are the ones who can achieve extraordinary results, together.
