POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking a Sr. Data Analyst focused on GTM Data & Analytics to join our dynamic team shaping Harness’ go-to-market strategy and global expansion. Blending high-level strategy, detailed analytics and on-the-ground operations, our team acts as data-driven partners to GTM leadership in defining top revenue priorities, developing new initiatives and owning field execution. 

In this position, you will play an integral role in driving global GTM programs and be an analytics-focused, day-to-day partner to senior business leaders. You will leverage Tableau, SQL and other data analysis tools to build major parts of our GTM dashboard suite, identify areas of revenue growth & underperformance, stand up new processes & programs and make recommendations on long-term strategy.          

Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations & Strategy, this is a high-visibility position with senior cross-functional exposure across the company, particularly with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and other Operations teams. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business and influence our GTM strategies & processes worldwide. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a data and analytics partner to GTM leadership, developing KPIs & metrics dashboards and making proactive, data-driven recommendations on business strategy & priorities
  • Leverage Tableau, SQL and other tools to identify critical trends, track business performance and develop actionable insights across various GTM segments 
  • Create new Sales programs to drive revenue growth on topics such as international expansion, pipeline growth and pricing
  • Assist with key business reporting for our GTM leadership, executive management and Board of Directors 
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM leadership, Finance, Product and other teams to ensure business alignment on top priorities and drive change where needed

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in data visualization & dashboarding, ideally in a GTM-adjacent role and/or in a high-growth SaaS company
  • Tableau & SQL: experience and/or education in Tableau and SQL is highly desirable. Experience with Salesforce, Python and/or other GTM tools is a plus
  • Analytical & presentation skills: ability to translate complex data into consumable insights and to present actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • “All hands on deck” mindset: desire to be in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • Ownership & bias for action: end-to-end ownership of deliverables & ability to get deep into details and complex datasets to get them done 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills: independently able to deal with ambiguous topics without a defined process or “right” answer
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills: prior experience & comfort interacting with senior leadership

  • This is a Remote role with a preference for San Francisco, CA or New York, NY
