The opportunity 

This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. you’ll lead a team of project managers and business analysts, to drive coordinated and effective delivery across complex portfolios. As the Enterprise and Regulatory Delivery Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes and budgets, all while aligning efforts with strategic business priorities. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate organisational dynamics and balance competing priorities across teams, maintaining alignment and momentum in a complex and evolving environment.

Your new role 

You’ll be a dynamic leader who knows what great looks like and can inspire and guide the team to achieve it through action, support, and example. You will embrace the current state, identify gaps, and help build capability. You’ll provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to help teams navigate challenges, remove blockers, and stay focused on delivering outcomes that align with broader business priorities. Your leadership will be key in helping the team meet its commitments and deliver impactful results.

You will:

  • Define scope, plan initiatives, and collaborate across divisions to understand current and future delivery needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and pipeline priorities.
  • Set up initiatives with clear scope and objectives and provide leadership through ambiguity to support effective and confident delivery.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, encouraging shared ownership and proactive engagement across working groups.
  • Identify interdependencies, reduce duplication, and enhance collaboration across the technology division.
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements including training, timesheets, SDLC, financial accuracy, and proactive risk management.
  • Leverage strong leadership and hands-on delivery experience to engage and influence peers and senior stakeholders, while providing practical guidance to teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence.

About you 

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strategic foresight, experience managing diverse teams and hands-on delivery experience to support the team driving complex programs and projects. You’ll manage your team's delivery pipelines, balance resources, and ensure outcomes are met across time, budget, scope, and quality. Your leadership will be met with opportunities to guide teams through regulatory commitments, fixed deadlines, and evolving priorities, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in technology delivery leadership, managing teams of 10+ people and delivering complex programs and projects across time, budget, scope, and quality.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to operate with sound judgment, balancing team needs with organisational goals and leadership direction.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organisation, with the ability to adapt style and approach to suit diverse audiences and contexts.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with practical experience applying governance, process discipline, and delivery best practices.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams in flexible work environments, including on-shore and off-shore delivery models.
  • Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry, and experience managing vendor relationships and deliverables across the full vendor lifecycle.
