Armed Security Officer – Flex Officer (Denver Metro)Pay Rate: $22.50 per hourSchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 8–12 Hour Shifts | Night & Weekend Availability RequiredLocation: Denver Metro Area (including Denver, Westminster, Commerce City, Aurora, Centennial, Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada, and surrounding areas)
Position OverviewCitadel Security USA is seeking highly motivated Armed Flex Security Officers to join our growing team in the Denver Metro area. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment across multiple client sites. Our ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and experienced with firearms and security protocols.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional armed security presence at client locations
• Conduct patrols (foot/vehicle) to detect and deter threats or unauthorized activity
• Monitor site activity, control access, and respond to incidents
• Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious behavior, and violations
• Assist and guide employees, visitors, and vendors
• Collaborate with emergency responders and local law enforcement
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately and promptly

Minimum Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Must legally possess and carry a firearm
• Valid Denver Merchant Guard License – Armed
• Valid Driver’s License (no permits; must have held for 3+ years)
• Clean motor vehicle record (no major accidents in the last 3 years)
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Ability to pass a urinalysis drug screen (site dependent) and background check
• Ownership of a working smartphone and active email address
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a variety of environments and weather conditions
