Brief Overview
Physician Assistant Otolaryngology
Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
• Obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performing physical exams for both new and return patients.
• Performing pre-operative, post operative and urgent ORL evaluations in the ORL clinic.
• Assisting with procedures both in the clinic setting and in the operating room. (*Please note OR time is limited and most time is spend in the outpatient clinic)
• Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
• Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, consultations and procedures and issuing appropriate prescriptions/medications.
• Actively participating in Department of ORL educational meetings and conferences.
•  Participating in research project opportunities.
• Working 40 hours per week: four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and will rotate between: North Dartmouth once per week, Weymouth, and Boston clinics and 1-2 month Waltham OR. 

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• A Master of Physician Assistant Studies

Experience:

• Previous OR experience is preferred
• Prior Otolaryngology/Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• New grad PAs will be considered

Licensure/ Certifications:

• A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Physician Assistant.
