Senior Security Analyst - DLP

The Senior Security Analyst will support the operation of Nox Health and all associated business units by designing, implementing, and monitoring security systems to protect the organization from cyber attacks, and help set and maintain security standards.
As a Senior Security Analyst with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive information and preventing data breaches. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing our DLP systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and address potential security risks, monitor data flows, and develop strategies to mitigate data loss threats.
Requirements
DLP Implementation and Management:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across the organization's network, email, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, incidents, and policy violations to identify and respond to potential data leakage.
- Fine-tune DLP policies, rules, and thresholds to align with business needs while effectively mitigating risks.
Incident Response and Remediation:
- Investigate DLP incidents, assess their severity, and take appropriate action to mitigate data loss or exposure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promptly address security incidents, document findings, and ensure proper resolution.
- Provide recommendations and guidance to improve security controls and prevent future incidents.
Risk Assessment and Policy Development:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in data protection processes.
- Develop and update data security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to DLP, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Security Awareness and Training:
- Educate employees on data protection best practices, DLP policies, and security awareness through training sessions and materials.
- Foster a security-conscious culture by promoting the importance of data protection.
Collaboration and reporting:
- Collaborate cross-organizationally to ensure alignment of DLP initiatives with organizational goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on DLP metrics, incidents, trends, and effectiveness to key stakeholders and management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices related to DLP and data security.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance DLP capabilities and drive improvements in data protection strategies.
