Licensed Maintenance Electrician - Day Shift

Hartung Glass Industries is seeking a highly skilled and certified electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   Day shift is 6 AM - 2 PM

Possession of an LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) certificate is required.

Requirements

Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair issues related to pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical processes.

Perform routine and specialized maintenance on highly automated, state-of-the-art glass production equipment, including tempering furnaces, automated cutting systems, automated insulating equipment, and spacer forming and assembly      equipment.

Conduct preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Apply Good electrical and mechanical principles in daily tasks and problem-solving.

Maintain accurate records by logging work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS).

Request machine parts promptly by completing and submitting purchase requisitions.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) certificate is required.
• A two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance-related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work safely, effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
