Emergency Technician * Per Diem Variable*

Reporting to the Emergency Services Nurse Manager, under the direction of Nursing or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care to patients and families of all ages as directed, in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, scope and standards of practice. All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the mission and core values of the organization.

Reporting to the Emergency Services Nurse Manager, under the direction of Nursing or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care to patients and families of all ages as directed, in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, scope and standards of practice. Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License, or
• Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License, or
• Upon hire: California Paramedic License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• 1 year experience in acute care.
• 1 year current Emergency Services experience (maybe concurrent with acute care experience).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
