You will join a rapid-growing Professional Services team consisting of 100+ consultants dispersed around the globe, mostly located in North America and Europe. The team manages around 350 client projects yearly, from small consultancy to large first implementation, upgrades and global rollouts. The product we deliver is FIS Payment Hub (formerly known as Trax), an award-winning payment hub providing strong controls and workflow for domestic and cross-border payment processes.

Who we are looking for

As a Practice Manager in a Software Product company, you are accountable and responsible for the successful delivery of our Treasury and Payments projects, services and solutions for our corporate clients across the globe. Your work scope will include resource management and owning assigned projects and resource portfolio, lead and manage monthly effort and revenue forecasting process, assisting in evolving our working practices by managing the continuous improvements backlog, co-animating workshops alongside PS team management and project managers, assist documenting/ formalizing the outcome of these workshops. You will also maintain our portfolio of projects and projects candidates with a long-term vision (6 - 12 months) across First Implementations, Deployments, Upgrades, Ad-hoc Consultancy and Strategic projects sub-portfolios You will work as a part of Scrum/Agile team of skilled professionals.

You will join one of our Professional Services consultants teams within FIS Capital Markets Corporate Payment group and will be based in our office most suitable to your location (in North America). Regular travels (approx. 0 to 20%) to visit your clients or peers are expected and are an integral part of the role.

You should be able to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor or lead a small team of functional consultants in context of a project. This is a client facing role.

What you bring

• Functional expertise – Basic understanding of the financial markets specifically in one of the areas: Payments, Bank Connectivity, Message formats, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Accounts Payables.
• Educational background: A degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics or Engineering
• Working knowledge:
  • Minimum 10 years of practical resource management experience in consulting or delivery type business
  • Experience in B2B software consulting operations management
  • Sound understanding of software implementation project lifecycle
  • Solid presentation and communication skills, ability to engage, build and maintain client relationships effectively, being able to advise the client with assertiveness

• Technical knowledge:
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, JIRA.
  • Basic understanding for Cloud Architecture, deployment and testing methodologies
  • Basic understanding of programming language (Java, Groovy) and databases (SQL Server)

• Other competencies:
  • Individual that can lead, is proactive, creative with initiative and contribute to delivering services and projects within the constraints set by the contract (scope, approach, time), mature and grow both people, the team and the business
