Manager, Revenue Accounting

This Revenue Manager is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial information pertaining to the revenue recognition process, including contract review, revenue approval, reporting requirements, and audit support. This role will offer great development and learning opportunities to own the end-to-end full revenue cycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Review customer contracts for revenue recognition to ensure compliance with company policies and appropriate revenue recognition standards under ASC 606.
- Prepare management revenue and analysis reports, account reconciliations, and other reports.
- Research and write memos on technical revenue recognition accounting topics as required for complex revenue transactions.
- Assist with both external audit and internal control compliance by maintaining required documentation and assisting in any required testing cycle. A successful and timely audit completion is a key success metric.
- Seek out process improvement initiatives that increases the efficiency and accuracy of revenue monthly close process.
- Lead implementation of revenue process in implementation of Netsuite.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff of direct and indirect reports.
We're looking for:
- Be present in the office through working in a hybrid model.
- Exceptional strategic and analytical skills with a solution-orientation mindset.
- Strong working knowledge of revenue recognition guidance - ASC 606 and its application to the industry.
- Experience leveraging technology to support and scale a business (e.g., NetSuite)
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA is a plus.
- CPA highly desired.
- Public Accounting highly desired.
