Position Overview:

As a Product Designer on the Zenni business team, you’ll work directly in an agile squad with engineers, PM & business team to rapidly ideate solutions from stages of MVP to later scale based on business requirements. You’ll concept and design intuitive, usable user experiences using flow diagrams, mockups, and prototypes for a variety of business partners and prospects including: health care, business, tech & innovation industries. In addition you’ll design internal tools & portals both for Zenni team and partners to interface.

You’re a good fit for this role if you have great storytelling and communication skills and can tackle ambiguous problems and propose elegant, usable, and scaleable design solutions.

You’ll support 2 design leads and the product design manager on all b2b projects. You will design feature enhancements across a variety of products.

Responsibilities

• Support leads on design projects of ambiguous scope from end to end, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers
• Own new features designs and enhancements on a variety of products
• Deliver flow diagrams, interaction design patterns, design specs, wireframes, information architecture, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design
• Advance your design rationale backed by user research, data, and industry trends
• Contribute to the business design system
• Manage time and project expectations appropriately when working on multiple projects at a time
• Proactively seek input and feedback on your design work, and contribute constructively to design reviews
• Business-minded approach to finding win-win solutions for consumers and the business
• Storytelling and communication skills for various stakeholder audiences
• Async fluent: you can create clean and clear design handoffs with video voiceover narration to our overseas development team, reducing back and forth questions on design and interactions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Figma expert - you can create clean and easy to navigate figma designs, flows and prototypes easy to understand in async culture
• 2+ years of experience in product design or UX

Preferred Qualifications

• Can produce amongst shifting and developing requirements
• Can work autonomously - you are supported but take always take initiative 
• Have a point-of-view and can articulate differing points of view to peers
• A portfolio with shipped design work
• Experience in writing content - you know how to leverage AI to support content needs for your projects (no lorem ipsum here)
• Experience working with technical teams in a cross-functional role
• Experience in health care, finance and SaaS industries
• Can deliver with velocity in agile sprint squad structure
• Always ask “the why?” and takes ownership & initiative and takes a business value approach 
• Fluent in Figma and mobile-first responsive design

• Experience contributing to a design system and helping maintain it for multiple products
