OUR INTERN PROGRAM:
Are you looking for a summer internship that goes beyond busy work and truly impacts team members, the company, and the community? As a Contractor Safety and Standards Summer Intern at Peoples Gas, you will have the opportunity to help develop and execute a strategy that will ultimately provide assurance that our Tier 2 and Tier 3 Contract Business Partners are performing work safely and efficiently while adhering to all standards, processes and procedures.

 

This program is scheduled to be onsite in downtown Tampa and run from May 19, 2025-July 25, 2025. 

 

HOW YOU’LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS:
•    Correspond with Contract Business Partners (email, phone, in-person)
•    Collect, sort and analyze data (KPIs, safety stats, performance stats, etc.)
•    Monitor, track and follow-up on Safety events (i.e., incidents, injuries, near misses, etc.)
•    Monitor Contractor software system (ISNetWorld)

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
•    Ability to commit to the ten (10) week program. No time off or missed days. 
•    Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college. 
•    Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
