About Signature Orthopedics by Sheridan

Signature Orthopedics by Sheridan is part of Sheridan Community Hospital, a trusted community-based healthcare organization. We are expanding specialty services into the Grand Rapids area to provide accessible, high-quality orthopedic care with a strong focus on patient experience and teamwork.


Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities


Provide direct patient care under the supervision of providers and RNs
Perform patient intake, including vital signs and medical history review
Assist providers with orthopedic exams and procedures
Support injections, splinting, dressing changes, and patient preparation
Administer medications within LPN scope of practice
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Coordinate patient flow, referrals, and follow-up care
Educate patients on treatment plans and care instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Support a positive, patient-centered clinic experience



What We-re Looking For


Current Michigan Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
Previous clinic or outpatient experience preferred
Orthopedic experience not required—training provided
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
Team-oriented with a positive and professional approach
