About the role

We are looking for a talented Hospitality Group Leader Manager to join our team in Columbus, IN. 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Project Identification: Collaborate with business management to identify and prioritize short and long-term projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Feasibility Analysis: Conduct thorough feasibility and needs analyses to determine project timelines, ensuring realistic and achievable plans.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including analysis, design, budgeting, communication, and integration, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Workflow Approval: Approve business workflows and operational designs, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor the status of team operations and budgets, providing insights and adjustments as needed to maintain alignment with goals.
  • Advisory Role: Advise Hospitality Group Leaders on project plan design and development, leveraging your expertise to guide successful project outcomes.
  • Team Management: Manage and delegate work assignments to Hospitality Group Leaders, considering their skills and developmental needs to maximize team performance.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide developmental feedback and coaching to team members, fostering their growth and enhancing their ability to manage teams effectively.

  • Hospitality Tools and Technology - Supports hospitality services by using hospitality equipment and organization information technology to deliver a great Cummins experience

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

  • College, university, or equivalent degree or relevant equivalent experience required. 

     

Experience: 

  • Significant relevant experience, including supervisory experience, required.

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee Cummins employee food service, vending and coffee vendor operations. Advise on associated budgets or subsidies.
  • Advise on projects related to the transition of food service, vending and coffee suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities in the areas of industry expertise, capacity, quality, financial stability, etc. with local sourcing teams.
  • Assist in the negotiation of supplier specific agreements and monitor adherence to those agreements.
  • Consult on food and beverage, vending and coffee contracts globally.
  • Provide professional leadership and direction to each site internal and external teams ensuring supplier provides necessary services appropriate for site population and employee demographic.
  • Actively monitor the key performance indicators of suppliers in the areas of throughput, sanitation, quality, and cost. Communicate the results
