About the Role: Client Services Associate, Capital Markets
The Team:
Join our dynamic Capital Markets Client Services team, where you will enhance your financial acumen, develop expertise in S&P products, and refine your problem-solving and communication skills. In this collaborative environment, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with issue resolution, data interpretation, and navigation of the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. You will also collaborate with various internal teams, including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support, to ensure our clients receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Upon completion of an intensive 1-2 month training and mentorship program, you will begin engaging directly with clients through phone calls, web chats, and emails. Your training will encompass effective client communication, in-depth knowledge of our data offerings, and group project presentations. You will gain insights into our diverse customer segments and explore additional S&P Global platforms. Successful participants will complete mandatory certification exams and undergo a comprehensive evaluation process to assess their skills and capabilities.
This role is designed to provide hands-on training and valuable networking opportunities, equipping you for a successful career within S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. We aim to attract high achievers from a diverse range of undergraduate institutions.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $48,600 to $65,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
BSc or BA degree, or equivalent graduated no later than June 2025
A background in Business, Economics or Finance is beneficial but not a necessity.
Passion for building relationships with finance professionals and a strong enthusiasm for learning within the financial services industry.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills to effectively address client concerns and promote the usage of S&P Global Market Intelligence products.
Available to join a cohort of new hires in September 2025
Available to work a hybrid schedule in NY with two days a week in office.
