Senior Product Designer II, Agent Studio
MoveworksAbout the role
Are you passionate about turning complex tasks into simple UI interactions to unlock productivity for everyone? Are you excited about working in the Agent AI space to turn all the hype into actually something useful for people day to day? We are looking for a Senior Product Designer for Agent Studio -- Moveworks’ Agent AI enterprise platform for building automation and integrations to do exactly that.
You will shape how technical and non-technical users build, test, and deploy Agentic AI workflows across enterprise systems. You will lead design across plugin creation, webhook triggers, system workflows, and testing flows—and help drive the move from raw DSL authoring to intuitive, AI-assisted, click-based development. Whether it’s a hardcore developer coding process, or a no code/low code/vibe code environment - you define what’s needed for the product to drive productivity for enterprises.
You simplify not only pixels on the screen, but also mental models and concepts that shape the developer / stakeholder experiences. You can zoom in to design details and also excel at zooming out to systems level thinking to move interaction paradigms and design systems forward to serve core product business goals efficiently. You lead with design vision to help the team to imagine the future, and are able to quickly cut through the noise and focus on cutting to a well executed design scope to validate the key business and user goals with your cross functional partners.
This is a highly collaborative, in-person role, innovating daily with other designers, ML/Gen AI / Systems engineers, and PMs to define the future of enterprise AI workflows.
Why This Role Matters
Agent Studio is a strategic pillar of Moveworks—and developer experience is at the heart of its success. You’ll help create a polished, intuitive, and powerful UX that turns complex workflows into simple building blocks—whether a user is clicking, prompting, or coding. This is a high-ownership role with the opportunity to shape a major surface area of our platform and define what enterprise automation design looks like at scale.
What You Will Do:
Lead and Scope UX Opportunities
- Identify points of friction and high-leverage opportunities in the builder experience through user research, usage data, and internal partner feedback.
- Scope design projects from concept through delivery, balancing usability, scalability, and business impact.
- Think at a framework and system level—designing reusable interaction patterns that serve many workflows and builder personas.
Design with Technical Depth
- Understand technical workflows end-to-end: triggers, data models, logic flows, and payloads.
- Collaborate closely with AI / Gen AI / system design engineers and backend teams to ensure product and data model design are aligned from the ground up.
- Deliver detailed design specs that anticipate edge cases, support flexibility, and integrate with system constraints.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with a team of PMs to manage priorities across multiple verticals within Agent Studio (e.g., plugin creation, testing, analytics).
- Help identify and resolve overlaps or conflicts across product areas to reduce design debt and ensure consistent user experience.
- Collaborate daily with frontend engineers to track and prioritize backlog items, scope new design efforts, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Lead or co-lead design working sessions, sprint planning, and reviews to keep cross-functional teams aligned and unblocked.
- Work with adjacent designers to coordinate across sub-projects and ensure design consistency.
Stay Ahead of the Curve
- Bring an informed point of view on trends in developer tools, low-code/no-code platforms, workflow builders, and intelligent assistants.
- Use industry context to inform roadmap, challenge assumptions, and position us ahead of the market.
Own Delivery and Quality
- Manage design deliverable timelines to balance short-term iterations and long-term initiatives for you and your team
- Ensure a high visual and interaction design quality bar—designs should not only look polished but clearly solve the right problems in the right way.
- Push the boundaries of the existing design system—identify gaps, propose new components or patterns, and partner with system designers to scale them effectively.
- Leverage generative AI design tools
