Qualifications

What are you bringing to the team?

Hard skills:
- Experience in designing ETL pipelines on Azure with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of conceptual data modeling (ERD and UML).
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

Soft skills:
- You do not hesitate to experiment and test hypotheses without knowing the exact outcome.
- You can explain complex issues within your field to a broad audience.
- You proactively share your ideas and enjoy it when your colleagues do the same.
- You strive to fail quickly to learn faster and proactively share these experiences.
- You get energized by working in a team and can concretize the added value of teamwork.

Background:
- A completed HBO/WO education such as Computer Science, Informatics, Geoinformation, Geomatics, or similar.

It is a bonus if you:
- Have experience with version control tools (preferably GIT).
- Have knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and tools such as FME or QGIS.
- Have experience with data preparation for Machine Learning.
- Have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
