Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying safety and occupational health regulations, standards, and principles in order to administer a safety and health program; 2) Using mishap investigation techniques to investigate mishaps, determine causal factors, and provide recommendations; 3) Using safety management system concepts to continuously improve safety performance; 4) Utilizing management and business acumen tools and techniques sufficient enough to identify, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate an organization's safety and occupational health program.
