This company has been on an ambitious growth trajectory since its inception and is well capitalized and firmly positioned to take advantage of the favorable market trends resulting in growth opportunities in their space. The VP finance will have a path to become CFO.
We are seeking a results-driven VP Finance to oversee our financial operations. You will be performing financial planning, optimizing financial processes, and preparing budgets and reports. We're seeking a financial executive who will partner strategically with the CEO of the enterprise and be a key contributor to the ongoing growth of the business. We require a finance professional with a proven ability to lead a private equity sponsored business and understanding of the demands within this environment. The VP Finance needs to be highly analytical with an operationally oriented approach and will be responsible for identifying and tracking KPI’s, thoroughly analyzing and understanding the key drivers and levers of the business and who will translate and communicate those findings into action. We're seeking a hands-on leader with prior experience in a fast pace environment.
To ensure success as a VP Finance, you should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial management principles and extensive experience in a similar role. A first-class VP Finance will be someone whose expertise translates into optimized financial operations and increased profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding financial decisions by developing and monitoring policies and procedures.
- Evaluating and enhancing financial controls and tax return procedures.
- Analyzing and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and liabilities.
- Performing internal audits and financial risk assessments, as well as facilitating intervention strategies.
- Preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and reports, as well as reviewing journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Monitoring closing processes, billing, invoicing, expenses, reimbursements, and payroll administration.
- Maximizing returns on excess cash balances and improving closing and reporting cycles.
- Coordinating and recording investments and maintaining fixed asset records.
- Overseeing financial and administration service partners and analyzing profit center performance metrics.
- Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with financial management and accounting regulations.
- Leading an ERP implementation
Requirements
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in accounting with a focus on corporate financial management.
- At least seven years' experience in Finance/Accounting as a financial administrator, or similar. Manufacturing experience and Accounting 606 expertise required. A first experience in a Big4 is a strong plus.
- Advanced competency in financial management and accounting software, such as QuickBooks. ERP implementation is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Extensive experience in corporate finances, auditing, and performance management.
- Superb organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Benefits
Base Salary : From $150k to $200k depending on the profile
Bonus : Cash + LTIP
