Head of Partners Sales Management, NI Europe

The NI Europe organization is seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead the Partners sales Management team, who is passionate about partners, partnership, and to be responsible for driving the business with partners in Europe. Ideal candidate has a broad and well-recognized profile and networks among the leading technology companies and customers across the industry, and hence be able to attract the customers and partners to invest in the partnerships with Nokia in the Network Infrastructure Business Group.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Business and investment planning and negotiation with partners
  • Ensure adequate sales coverage by the partners, have a deep understanding of the maturity and capabilities of each partner, and improve their performance
  • Set the channel partner strategy across the region in agreement with local sales leaders, to ensure the efficient use of existing partner GTM capabilities and to create a quality partner ecosystem
  • Exploring new ways of doing efficient business for NI
  • Setting and tracking key milestones in partner engagement
  • Leading directly and in a matrix organization - Drive of a team of Partner Sales manager for the local and regional partnerships across Europe (including distribution)
  • Ability to attract technology companies and industry partners to invest in partnerships with NI and position NI as their preferred partner
  • Continue to develop the Service Provider as a Partner business in Europe (SPaaP)
  • Ability to clearly articulate the value and benefits of the Partner Program to the (potential) partners
  • Ability to work closely with leaders across NI lines of business, product line management (PLM) teams, technical pre-sales, business development, marketing, and in particular the NI Enterprise and Partner Success organization
  • Articulate the support and the drive for partners locally, regionally and globally with the best efficient coverage and productivity
  • Travel:  Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time

You have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technology background or experience. MBA is an asset.
  • 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience in the ICT or Network Infrastructure domain, either in the Telecom sector or in other industry sectors with heavy adoption of Telecom solutions. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior team leader role is required.
  • Passion for technology and for extending their knowledge in the frontiers and hot topics of each area. This will be complemented by an understanding of customer applications, use cases and successes across our enterprise, webscale and service provider customer segments alike.
  • Proven experience in partner ecosystem development, enablement and management as well as in partner support tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills are essential including the ability to create a well-structured narrative and write clear and concise content & creative assets to support that narrative that can effectively influence executives as well as customer prospects and industry influencers.
  • Familiar with verticals and general enterprise market and Communication Service providers (competition, solutions, telecom / IT needs)
  • Ability, experience and passion to lead multi-functional teams. Must be able to create consensus and guide teams to develop and execute sales programs.
  • Strong interest in the different industries and their potential changes with the technology
  • Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence
