BI & Data Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced BI & Data Governance Manager with expertise in Business Intelligence (BI), Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Governance to drive data strategy, reporting automation, and data quality initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, standardization, and governance while leveraging BI tools to transform complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, and IT teams to design high-quality analytical solutions, automate data workflows, and enhance reporting capabilities. 

What you will do:

Business Intelligence (BI) & Reporting 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing) to identify key reporting and data automation needs.  

• Design and build BI solutions and interactive Dashboards that drive strategic decision-making and address key business questions.  

• Enhance and automate BI reports, integrating data pipelines and APIs to enable self-service analytics and real-time insights of critical data. 

Master Data Management (MDM) 

• Lead MDM initiatives to establish a single source of truth, ensuring consistency and accessibility across business domains. 

• Work with stakeholders to define and implement data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards.  

• Collaborate with data engineering, Integration and IT teams to integrate MDM principles into ETL pipelines, data lakes, and enterprise data architecture. 

Data Governance & Data Quality 

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity by implementing data governance best practices and quality monitoring mechanisms. 

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, enabling effective data standardization and deduplication. 

• Support automation of data workflows, leveraging ETL and API-driven integrations to improve data accessibility and reduce manual effort. 

• Hands on expertise in data architecture, data pipelines, data quality reporting.

What you will need: 

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in data-driven applications and enterprise solutions. 

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Governance, or Data Architecture roles, driving data-driven strategies. 

• 3+ years in a leadership role, overseeing Data Governance and MDM initiatives, ensuring enterprise-wide data consistency and compliance. 

• Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize BI reporting solutions, leveraging tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker etc. 

• Hands-on experience in MDM strategy execution leveraging MDM tools like Boomi MDH, Informatica MDM, Profisee, SAP MDG etc. 

• Strong background in cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL, Python, and ETL frameworks to build scalable and automated data pipelines.
