Clarke Energy is multinational specialist in gas and diesel engine-based power plants for energy efficient and renewable power generation. Clarke Energy Hellas is the authorised distributor and service provider for INNIO’ s Jenbacher gas engines in Greece. Our capabilities range from the supply of a gas-fuelled power generation engine, through to the turnkey installation of a multi-engine power plant. Clarke Energy’s ethos is one of aftersales support, delivering high levels of equipment availability through the development of a strong local service presence with in-country parts supply.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Tax Officer to join our team in Greece. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and expenses bookkeeping and local reporting requirements for taxes and year-end report.

Responsibilities

• Fixed assets registry ownership
• Stock purchases invoices entry
• Bookkeeping of transactions according to Greek GAP
• Sales invoices for goods sold
• Excellent knowledge of Greek tax laws and continuous research on developments and changes
• Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual tax declarations (VAT, FEE, Income tax, E3, Intrastat, Vies, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of AADE and GEMI forms and procedures
• Year-end local closure
• Cooperation for company’s audit
• Assist the team for customer accounts receivables

Qualifications/Experience

• University Degree in Accounting and Tax or long-term tax seminar
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Excellent computing skills (Navision, Microsoft Office-Excel-Outlook-Word)
• Excellent knowledge of English
• A Class signature rights
