Position Location: Fort Collins, CO

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Safety Director reports directly to the CEO. The overarching responsibility is for overseeing the company's comprehensive safety program ensuring the overall safety of the workplace, complying with federal and state regulatory requirements, and protecting the company's employees and assets. The Safety Director will provide technical knowledge and help create a safety culture. The Director of Safety will work to ensure that all employees in the Noble Family of Companies are provided with the appropriate work environment, training, tools and leadership required to stay safe and healthy while at work. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop annual strategic safety plans and corresponding budget in collaboration with business and operational leadership personnel which are aligned with organizational goals, values, and industry best practices. 
• Stay abreast of ongoing federal, state and customer safety practices that ensure compliance and keep Noble ahead of its competitors.
• Assist the divisions in the implementation and management of Noble safety programs.
• Identify and mitigate safety-related risks that could impact the organization's reputation and long-term viability. Coordinate safety monitoring with risk management insurance provider or other 3rd parties as required.      
• Establish metrics and frameworks to assess and communicate the organization's safety performance and impact. 
• Directly oversees the functions and responsibilities of all HSE and Safety Trainer (s).
• Ensures HSE recordkeeping and data integrity to provide the business with accurate reporting and metrics to support HSE initiatives. 
• Ensure appropriate policies and procedures remain in  place through investigations and analysis of incidents, accidents, and      near-misses, while determining root causes and contributing factors. Generate detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions and continual improvement.  
• Ensure that federal, state and local safety laws, regulations, codes and rules are observed, and that OSHA recordkeeping and      reporting requirements are met.  
• Deliver effective safety training sessions to employees at all levels ensuring a comprehensive understanding of required safety      protocols and promoting a proactive safety culture and set policy for interaction with all 3rd party contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, and employee training      records.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of diverse and experienced safety professionals and leaders. 
• Other duties that may be assigned by his immediate supervisor.

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate safety initiatives  with all business units.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure all employees are provided with the tools required to be safe. 
• Ensure accurate and relevant training material is delivered to new and existing employees.
• Mentor and Develop staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Responsible for supervising two or more personnel in multiple locations.

· Responsible for supervising one or more classroom trainers who administer general employee onboarding and/or safety      instruction to new or current employees in multiple locations.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• BS in occupational health or engineering, MS, MBA, and/or CSP desired. 
• Certified Safety Professional required.
• 10+ years of experience in occupational health and environmental safety in the oil and gas industry strongly preferred or      in construction, manufacturing or equivalent environment. 
• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience as site Safety  Manager. 
• Experience in administering and auditing core critical safety programs (i.e., LOTO, fall protection, etc.) and hands-on      experience in managing and/or auditing industrial work sites. 
• Familiarity with impact measurement methodologies and reporting frameworks. 
• Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive insights from safety-related metrics. 
• Experience in safety risk management and integration into investment strategies. 
• Strong change management skills to drive safety initiatives across the organization. 
• Initial and ongoing knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Proven skills to identify facility or work site hazards and recommend/implement elimination, mitigation or control of the issue. 
• Strong verb
