We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Account Manager to spearhead the sales of Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE). In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with select partners and emerging customers across targeted market segments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be instrumental in expanding Teradyne’s market presence by cultivating strong customer and partner relationships, driving design wins, increasing market share and achieving revenue goals.

 

Opportunity Overview

The ideal Sales Account Manager will have sales experience in ATE or a related field, demonstrating excellence in managing both partners and customers. This individual should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while effectively handling multiple partnerships. Placing a strong emphasis on a sales 'hunter' mentality, crafting innovative business proposals, maintaining responsiveness, exhibiting professionalism, and ensuring thorough follow-through is essential.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Build and nurture meaningful and leverageable connections with key stakeholders within the ecosystem.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Design and execute effective sales strategies in collaboration to secure and enhance design wins
  • Increase Market Share: Expand the installed base of testers to drive engineering and NPI/small volume production business
  • Advocate and Support: Act as a champion for the needs of partners and customers, ensuring alignment with Teradyne’s strategic objectives
  • Manage Activities: Oversee all aspects of the business, including tester installations and upgrades, coordination with sales teams, service and support arrangements, competitive sales processes, product roadmap alignment, forecasting, quoting, and order booking

 Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in capital equipment sales  within the Semiconductor industry or a related field
  • Sales Expertise: Proven success in discovering and securing new business, as well as driving growth by expanding the existing customer base
  • Customer Focus: Strong advocate for customer needs, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong ability to respond promptly and maintain thorough organization
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience; an MBA is a plus
