Senior IT Project Manager (9 months Fixed Term)

<h2>Your mission</h2><p>We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with an IT background to support us in setting up our services whilst we undertake a significant business transformation. This role requires a professional with substantial experience in managing complex initiatives and technical know how. The selected individual will play a crucial role in engaging with other functions to ensure seamless coordination and effective management of initiatives.</p><p>You are a strong, experienced Project Management professional who is passionate about delivering complex projects and are excited by the challenges associated with high profile strategic initiatives. If you are a true team player who can lead, build trust quickly, work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-changing product and work environment you will fit in well here. You will collaborate in a cross functional environment and will ensure that stakeholders at all levels of the organization have the information they need for informed decision-making. You will provide visibility of project statuses and provide individual reports tailored to their audiences, so we do expect you to have superb communications skills and fluent English.</p><p>The successful applicant will have to get up to speed and pick up things very quickly and must be comfortable dealing with a complex project in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision. You will report a senior member of the team whilst being accountable for project deliverables and artefacts.</p><p></p><h2>What you'll do</h2><ul> <li>Use your significant subject matter expertise to identify and define project scope and develop a comprehensive project plan for a complex IT transformation.</li> <li>Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gain support and secure necessary capacity.</li> <li>Capture and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies in an organized and coherent manner and manage proactively.</li> <li>Co-ordinate the different key vendors and service providers as required ensuring that they meet the required standards and committed timelines.</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to internal project teams, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives, assist tactical teams in overcoming obstacles and achieving project milestones.</li> <li>Provide leadership to cross functional teams ensuring that outcomes are achieved consistently using agreed frameworks within the Business and that standard methodologies and management principles are adhered to. You'll have a high-level understanding of initiatives being delivered and be able to partake in relevant conversations and update the wider team accordingly.</li> <li>Be accountable for maintaining a project plan showing all of the key activities, milestones and dependencies and ensuring that execution against these is on time and meets agreed requirements.</li> <li>Establish effective communication channels among all stakeholders, ensure regular updates and transparent communication regarding project status and any changes.</li> <li>Use your substantial experience in managing complex initiatives and have a deep understanding of cloud services (such as GCP, AWS or Azure) as well as subscription-based services (including Atlassian stack, Microsoft solutions, Identiy Access Management solutions, remote administration tools, etc.).</li> </ul><p></p><h2>What you'll bring</h2><ul> <li>Experience of Project Managing multiple complex IT transformation initiatives</li> <li>Personable character and exceptional communicator – ability to communicate at the highest level (Written, Spoken and Presentation), provide empathetic feedback, challenge, and influence others.</li> <li>Very strong stakeholder management skills.
